Fibreco Expanded beam fibre optic connectors have been designed specifically to operate in harsh environments. They employ a non-contact technique where the fibre is fully sealed behind a lens. The lens effectively enlarges the active area of the fibre, thus providing a connector with greatly reduced dirt sensitivity and therefore higher reliability when used in adverse conditions.

Applications include military tactical communications, broadcast, petrochemical, mining and offshore systems.

All connectors are Hermaphroditic in design so every connector is the same type and can be connected to one another without the use of adapters.

Mini: 2 and 4 channel multimode and single mode

Junior: 2 and 4 channel multimode and single mode

Senior: 2, 4, 6 and 8 channel multimode and single mode with option of electrical contacts.

Maxi: 12 or 16 channel multimode and single mode
